yesterday was so much more awesome compared to today.
we had Seoul Garden yesterday. the 13 of us, shuttlers and netballers. a pity zoots and Louisa couldn't come. dearest Juliet got the dates mixed up. but still, Lee Ying, Graci, Brenda, Ci Hui, Geraldine, Alicia, Sue Ean, Pandora, Chi Koong, Isabel, Xinling and Andrea you guys were great company! to think, we took a hell lot of photos. watched Pirates with Graci after that.
i didn't do much today. woke up late with a splitting headache. then went to school to attend the SISC closing ceremony. A Midsummer Night's Dream after that. and i bumped into an old friend there. i couldn't imagine how much he's changed now. but Zhi Yuan's still as funny as ever.
so i'll be gone tomorrow night and i'm getting really nervous. i hope i won't get ill treated there. and i know of many who would miss me. sorry but you guys won't be seeing me around for a month. i know it'll be almost as fun without me, so enjoy the holidays!

it's Amazing how quickly 10 weeks pass by.
so today we skipped math and went Prince for lunch. then town to get Cai Lao Shi's farewell gift. after that qiu and yi yan left, leaving Baby/Buddy, Serene and I roaming about town. so first we lazed at Starbucks, occupying the sofa seats without ordering anything for about an hour plus. Serene and I slept while Buddy attempted to do her Rubik's Cube. obviously, she didn't manage to finish it. we went foodrepublic next, in hopes of finding rice dumplings. no, we didn't. instead, we got popiahs, which was like the second time i'm eating it in my whole life. hope that didn't amuse anyone like how it amused the two.
they left. and i went for my U course.
and IH didn't turn out to be a huge flop. i'm pretty thankful how we managed to put up with a presentable station. it must have been a miracle.
received a text message from an unexpected someone and yes Serene, i'm glad. alright so now, i need to pack.

today hadn't been a good day at all. i'm still fucking pissed at myself for not being able to wake up at 3am even though i only slept at 2 cause Geeby called. well i guess i'll see in a month's time, since i missed you at the airport? i hope you'll have fun there and back. and don't worry, i won't forget about you.
and then we cancelled IH. urgh.

i've been extremely busy, i realised. and i don't want to fall sick like one week before probably the most important month of the year. so forgive me if you don't see me around in school this week. you know why.

and it's just so strange how favourite person called to ask where i was, and if i wanted to meet. turns out, we were at the same place! so met her then i went for my guitar lesson and she went to meet poooey. they went to the arcade without me!!
after class, called them and we went Cartel together! cool beanie Chengzzzzz, who works there, treated us. then Wey Jian came along. had a great laugh with him.
so that pretty much sums up a little of my day, though there were many other things happening. heh

skipped school yesterday and everyone was missing me like hell. therefore, i decided to go to school today even though i could choose not to. but i left early in the end for my doctor's appointment. the scan showed a fracture, but really i feel fine. probably it's because i've already gotten used to the swelling for 2 months plus.
there was a effed up german test yesterday and a little talk with Frau Tan. i like the way she cares about all her students. at least i know she isn't a teacher for the sake of being one.
holidays are coming really soon and i've got to get myself well prepared. (by holidays, i mean the overseas trips.) elder sister's leaving for the States in two days, then coming back for a day before flying off to Italy again. younger sister is going to some place in China a day after i leave. so the house would be emptier then it already is for a week plus, and that younger brother of mine is going to be King. Scheisse. he's just going to get fatter.
right so bio test tomorrow! urgh sucks but that's just the way school is, isn't it?

firstly, i have to apologise for sucking so badly during the race just now. i know i could have done better and beat half the guys i was running against. but probably it was because of the lousy take off and the slight trip. plus, we are only IP1 and were the only teams with 3 girls and 1 guy. then again, they can be just excuses. don't worry, the class without any spirit, next year we'll own, somehow.
we started the day with the council investiture. after that, everything went downhill. we did napfa then played a little basketball. again, sorry for not realising that it was only a game. math then physics and payment, when Tracy and I were desperately looking for runners because we so did not want to forfeit the events. eventually we managed to send two teams, changing almost the whole of both teams. and i proud of everyone who ran, who so willingly agreed to fill up the empty slots.
this whole week and the last had been crap. so much rushing of work and so much nonsense shit. but thankfully term 2 is coming to an end. and before long, i'd find myself rushing from place to place, like in 10 days i'm flying off to Germany for 3 1/2 weeks, leaving me with 4 days for study for that dreaded assessment week. and when i'm back, after ass week, is OBS, immediately followed by the Melbourne trip. like whoa there goes 4 weeks of term 3 and 8 weeks of my shortlived life.
but it's good. i like leading a busy life. i like having no time for myself to have suicidal thoughts or brutal murder plans or anything of that sort. (don't worry, i'm a nice person. at least i don't go around threatening people with a penknife. i believe more in using what we are born with.) i'm a city person, though i like the peacefulness and quietness of the toilet sometimes.
i have a goal in life, so i'm not that worthless afterall, even though i couldn't even run the simple 100m properly today.

SCHEISSE. so we didn't win any of the three games, but so what? we were the only IPs who took part and we only had four players. the fifth was a on-the-spot found person(s). some J2 discus guy helped us for one game then Mervin took over. and we played pretty well! well done everyone!
right so now we don't have enough to participate for tomorrow's relay events because everyone couldn't make it last minute. SCHEISSE. i do hope we really can form a team and win win win even though most of our fast runners aren't able to participate.
the season ended yesterday, with a game with AJC. the season started great and we ended it well too. like what ms yim says, so what if we don't have the best players? so what if there aren't any combined school or national players? but we are NJNB and nothing is seriously impossible. like when we almost couldn't make up the numbers to form a full team. but we did, eventually.
and and, LA is the best, anytime. i like Ms Khoo and a new found love. i got in for all my activities for enrichment week too. Australia?

Dropped by my primary school today. funny how everyone and everything change so much in just a few years. recesses used to be so noisy and chaotic. and we even needed prefects to lead us around school. best of all, recess was cut short by 5 mins because we needed that time, or more, to line up according to our classes and settle down. AND, we weren't even allowed to stay in class!
the people, we used to be able to able to play catching or whatever games with anyone we see. but now, ...
ANYWAY,
the day went fine, or not.
today started off hell early, cause i finally decided to go to the gym. after that, bathed there and i popped by the old school where i spent six years at. got on a bus to Ikea later, to get some stuff and attempted to do some german self studying. no surprise, i didn't manage to. looked at the time before realising i should make a move.
i estimated that i would only need half an hour to get from Alexandra to Bishan. but no, i forgot to take into consideration that i was unfamilar with that place and there might not be straight buses there. still, i thought the people would be more helpful. there was this I lady who needed me to repeat 5 times before getting my question, and after thinking for quite a while, she figured she didn't know either. and there were those who were damn afraid that i was doing some survey or trying to sell them some shit ass product. all because i was carrying a shoebag. so, i decided to use my own intelligence and spent 20 mins finding the correct bus stop. and when i eventually did, i boarded the wrong bus. OMGGGGGGGGG
but never mind, cause i did manage to get there eventually and i was on the same bus as Janice.
lunched at Pastamania then played a few games at the arcade before catching Spiderman. i thought it wasn't as bad as everyone described it to be. it's just that the effects were kind of lousy. after the movie we all went home lorxzxzxzx.
and and, on the train home, i saw this really pretty boy! but, i still think Baby's cuter.
you just have to agree.
AND, i had the weirdest dream two nights ago. like the WEIRDEST and MOST UNCOMFORTABLE. so i assured myself with a few hours of Desperate Housewives.

met the girls after the TPJC game, and had dinner before coming over to my house. we started off with Twister, which Shuyi and I never managed to have a fair one-on-one challenge due to whatsoever reasons, and then we watched Troy! omg Troy! rightttt then the little ones were bored so we switched around a few games. and we found out that ____ had a _________. and many more, of course. we did fall asleep though, at around 5 plus. slept till about 9, then i can't remember what we did. and home.
and Mr Chia picked the 12 of us to go back for College Day cause we forgot to bring some stuff for him. but we didn't protest or complain la, because we are good kids who obey. the concert was average, with some self amusement constantly. dinner with han after that.
to think that i actually fell asleep on a bench at Taka today. like wtf? well, on my way to school, i decided to drop by library@orchard to do some reading/sleep, but i never managed to do it. cause the library is like at level infinity and you have to take countless escalators just to reach that floor. and because i was so damn dead tired, even before i could reach the library, i decided to just sit at a bench. i was thinking, maybe my lack of sleep throughout the whole day/week/month/term/year/life, made me so desperate for sleep that i actually slept sitting upright on the bench at the Art Friend level. slept for about half an hour, and when i woke up, the security guard was staring at me as though i'm some homeless kidd. but no, i'm just deprived of sleep.
monday's off, in lieu of today's College Day. but it doesn't make much of a difference cause there's so much work to do and there's still german and training.
on a side note, we're through to the 2nd round. but it wouldn't be easy, because we'll be meeting HCI, RJC and AJC. let's all pray hard and take down RJ and AJ. NJ NETBALL ALL THE WAY!

museum trip today. didn't turn out all that fun, but i managed to snap a few kooool pictures. dinner with Baby, han han, qiuuu and yan after that.
so we lost the ACJC game yesterday. learn from it, and do good for tomorrow's game. i know we can.
when school gets unbearably tiring, it's good to have a girls' night out. and i can't wait for tomorrow night. i'm so proud of the invite, which was done in less than ten minutes. tell me i'm good.
