saturday

alright so obs is over and it wasn't all that fun or torturous. we were sorted out into groups randomly all across the level and i unluckily, or luckily, got into Cousteau, and was the only fourcker there. on the bright side, i managed to make 13 new friends. Cousteau was made up of Mei Yan, Jacqueline, Serene (01), Michelle, Belle, Lauren, Shu Wei, Runfeng, Suba, Yu Long, Nghia, Ahn (?) and Rajan. wasn't the best group, but still, it was pretty good.

the two main things that i'm really proud of myself for doing in obs was the trekking and kayaking expeditions. trekking was dreadfully long and exhausting. we had to trek for like what seemed to be forever with our heavier-than-plane-handcarry bags. plus, there were tents, bottles and other stuff to carry too. kayaking was good and it didn't really seem very long. i'm really proud of Runfeng and myself, because even though we went in like almost 90 degrees zig zag pattern, we still managed to be in front of the group. we worked very well together, seriously.

for a person who doesn't cook or wash her clothes or do any chores, i feel really good about surviving obs without complaining too much. and to think when i came home, i had my maid do everything for me. i know i'm lucky, because my dad dropped me off in the morning and my mom picked me up from school, after which she took me to have Sakae. and when i reached home, all i had to do was unpack and bathe. the rest like applying medication and cutting my fingernails, my maid did it for me. now i really wonder how i am going to do without her.

while i was away on some island, Ena, the french girl, came. she's very petite and shy, AND SHE TOOK MY BED. ah but i'm fine with it.

alright, cousin's birthday party now. ich muss "Tschuss" sagen.
