FIRST OF JANUARY TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHT.
wow my first post for the year, this better be good.
so,
on the 29th, had to report to school again. but i'm not complaining, because i think i'm already quite used to all these walk in rehearsals and somehow, i quite like it! then had this post christmas celebration at Aunt Waisin's house. we dropped off my sister at DXO so we went for supper at the original Satay Club at Raffles Place which is like so many times better than the one at Clarke Quay.
next day, 30th, was the LucieMarryWenJia party! the theme was gothic glam and well, i think only Sher Feng and I made an effort to dress up. maybe Jing Min too. hey, i stayed up the night before to paint my nails black okay. and it was the first time i had my nails painted. oh well, i guess i could have easily won Best Dressed Award. we played Mahjong and watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Legally Blonde 2, Mr Bean's Holiday and Vacancy. did some other random stuff but i can't remember what.
i spent new year's eve's morning in school for the full dress walk in rehearsal. then, napped for little before heading out to meet Lee Ying and Louisa at parkway to get Louisa's nape done. it looks kinda weird there so i think i'm going to do one somewhere else instead. we decided to go to Louisa's house for mahjong, movies, ice cream, dinner and most importantly, countdown. (we didn't quite exactly countdown though.) mahjong was fun and unlike during the LucieMarryWenJia party, i was the winner! Louisa wasn't the biggest loser, thanks to her brother. cabbed home with Lee Ying cause we were too tired to finish all four rounds.
slept till noon today. did a lot of packing today. i think i was really efficient! i cleared my table in about 2 hours, which is quite fast and i'm sure Joyce agrees with me. then Heroes! dinner at Raffles City, and home for more packing.
i so do not look like i slept over at my boyfriend's place please. (even though it was Joyce who slept at my house the previous night.)
anyway, 2007 was kinda a good year for me. new school, made tons of new friends, and of course, kept in close contact with some of the Anglican people. though there were some hiccups here and there, i thought all in all 2007 went fine. i liked almost every bit of it. well, that's what i always say at the end of every year. but this year, i'm quite different. i didn't apologise to all those whom i have hurt or was rude to. maybe it's because i'm quite busy and i don't really see the need to do so since i've become nicer. at least now, i don't ostracise anyone as badly as what i did to Cher Yong.
i don't want to be 16. i don't like being old. i don't want to take my german o level. i don't want to be an IP2. i don't want school to start. i don't want 2008 to take 2007's place.
well, because i like to stay in my comfort zone, i'm still comtemplating to change my blog address. but it's kinda what i do every year, make a new one. and besides, it's good to do so before my archives thing becomes too long. who knows, i just might.
